Entertainers : I know, pictures of street entertainers are rather common place. Still, when I noticed entertainers in Southbank beginning to pack in order to leave space for new ones, I really liked the interaction in between them and with onlookers.

Polka-dots : A very interesting expo is taking place at the Hayward Gallery in Southbank - London. A special installation has been provided by artist Yayoi Kusama (Ascension of polka-dots on the trees). The artist wants to remind us that we are just polka-dots lost among billions of similar polka-dots in the universe. People keep personalising those polka-dots, though, and divert themselves lost among those trees. And this looks to me like a metaphor in the metaphor: yes, we are polka-dots but each of us is special and unique in its own loss of meaning. Dedicated to a very restless one I don't actually know.

Drizzle : Sometimes, when you are taking pictures sitting on a bench in London, under a persistent summery drizzle, you may turn around and realise that a chap with the face half covered by a mask is sitting next to you and you wonder how long this has been going on. Or you happen to stumble across two nice girls in watercolors and suffused in a melancholy as if they had just ran away from a painting. This is why I love this town and, of course, photography.

Knitted Graffiti (London Waterloo) : At Waterloo Station you can find a tunnel where graffiti artists are allowed to express themselves freely. What is even more remarkable is that you can find a nice group of ladies knitting their own woolen graffiti! The atmosphere is really relaxing: I spent hours over there taking pictures...

People in Camden - London : Street scenes from some back alleys in Camden - London (and a pair of them from the main street as well).

I am trying to improve here in capturing the contrast in between the background and the very different characters you can spot around.
The touristic side of Camden is somehow of no interest to me.

I like the idea of having in the same gallery both a cart and a sport car, with their picture taken just meters apart.

Chinese New Year Celebration in London 2008 : These pictures have been taken in Central London during the celebrations of Chinese New Year (February 2008).

I like the idea of integration of different cultures, rejoycing on the background of neoclassical London.

Once more, the pictures have been taken for artistic purposes only.
